No hot water

hi

wondering if anyone can help...just had a new bathroom fitted and the plumber drained all the water from the boiler................its a baxi.........hes run the hot water down stairs and all seemed well, that evening I ran the water and it stopped running, I have no upstair water coming from the hot taps...if any its a cup full...plumber has no idea why............any ideas how to get the hot water flowing again.............thanks in advance

i take it you have a hot water cylinder that feeds your taps ?

Yes, the cylinder located in airing cupboard...............

then i would say the pipe is airlocked from the cylinder to the taps.

backfill the cylinder using cold mains to hot gravity that will force the airlock out.


the plumber should know how to do that.
