no hot water

Have got a halstead gold combi boiler, which yesterday decided to stop producing hot water!

The boiler fires up ok when the hot tap is turned on but no hot water, the only thing i've noticed is that the pressure needle is very low (0.5 or less) when it's normally just over the '1' mark.

Any help much appreciated!

have you tried topping up the system with the filling loop ?

are your rads getting warm ?

not sure what filling up the system with the loop means (sorry!), but yes the rads do warm up fine.

No! He means do the rads heat up insteadwhen you turn on a hot water tap!

We are asking these questions so that we can try to guess whats wrong with your boiler.

When you turn on the hot tap does the gas carry on burning?

rads do not heat up when the hot tap is turned on, and the burner switches off when the tap is turned off.
