Hi folks,

I am looking to get a slimline dishwasher for my kitchen which will go next to the washing machine...

The washing machine waste goes into the sink waste but I have read on here that its not advisable to add a second appliance waste to this.... so I need the dishwasher waste to go straight outside into the drain...

Is it was simple as drilling a suitable sized hole in the wall, putting the pipe through with connection to the outside pipe and then jobs a gud'un.... or is it more complicated than that?

Basically, yes. Fit a standpipe to stop any smell coming back from outside, hook dishwasher outlet hose into that. Run pipe through wall to outside drain or soil pipe, not a rainwater drain!
