Noisy Motorised Valve

Our house/heating is 1 year old...when we moved in the motorised valve made loud knocking noises when it was opening/closing.

We complained to the builder and he provided a new one, which was quieter at first...now its very noisy.

Any reason? Are there any valves renowned for their quiet operation?

Just bad luck I think. Get builder to replace it again. Everything is under your 2 year warranty still.

Could be the pipes are loose - ie not clipped close enough.
