Hi.. Long time since my last post....
I have a traditional open vented system (cold water tank & Header Tank in loft, hot water cylinder, 3 way MV, 8 Rads)
All has been working fine for many a year now but over the last couple of weeks, i have been getting lots of air in a few radiators, general noisy gurgling in the pipes and what sounds like trapped air.
On further investigation, it only occurs when the HotWater is switched on (either on it's own or in conjunction with the central heating). The system appears to work fine and gurgle/noise free when in CH mode only.
I have drained the system and put some x400 in the system today to see if that helps.
Any additional advice/pointers would be much appreciated.
