We have a large airbrick/vent in our dining room, about 6 foot off the ground. We would like to get this blocked and plastered over, but want to know whether this would be ok.
We are also going to get cavity wall insulation fitted and so don't think that the vent would serve much purpose anyway.
I know that vents a ground level are needed to ventilate timbers, but not sure about having them at this level. I also understand that we may need a vent if there was a gas appliance in the room, but there isn't.
Thanks
