Could someone tell me the current regs for notching out floor joists when laying central heating pipes, I want to install a few more rads but it would mean running the copper pipe through the floor joists, bit unsure how much and where i can notch out

I know you can only notch an 1/8 of the depth of the joist. The min distance from wall is 7x span (of joist) then divide by 100 (if that makes sence)
Max distance from wall is span divided by 4.

If you are drilling through the joist it must be no more that 1/4 the depth and should be around mid way down the depth of joist

20-40% of the span is the area you can notch I think.

If you drill through joist then it is 3 x the pipe diameter between holes or a minimum of 100mm.

Well it was last time I did new build
