Hello members, I need advice on the following please.
I have just updated my existing UFH circuit with Heatmiser wiring centre and slimline PRTs and wondering where I should install the O/H stat in this circuit.
I was thinking that the o/h stat should interrupt the PRTs stats to zone valve (Brown) to shut down the valve but leave the rest of the system (rads & DHW) working if required.
The other alternatives I see are as follows,
UFH system has a pump at the manifold which could be interrupted, but there is also a separate pump at the side of the boiler and the boilers own pump that feed the first floor rads and games room circuits and they could feed the UFH circuit if the zone valve was open
Interrupt the zone orange wire to shut off the boiler but the other circuits suffer.
What do you think?
The concern with the above is how would you know there was a o/h problem?
Thanks for your past and present help.
Paul
