Hi all,
I have a 1200 litre capacity tank (I think, I basically worked it out on length x height x depth - remembering my math at school that should give me cubic capacity it was 1197.88 or something). I had a faulty gauge and resultantly ran out of oil.
I had a new gauge fitted while I wasn't here and subsequently a delivery of 715 litres of kero. The tank gauge shows under 1/2 tank full. But on the gauge it says something about 6ft, and the tank is 5ft if you're lucky.
Does this mean it's measurement is accurate in a 6ft deep tank? As I don't think that 715 is less than half of 1200... I was never THAT bad at math.
Is there a way to adjust the gauge (I should have mentioned it's an analogue gauge).
Many thanks
