Oiling wood

Hi we have a new wooden worktop in our kitchen which was oiled with Danish Oil. This hasn't lasted very well and we already have marks, stains, scratches etc. After researching it seems Osmo Top Oil is good stuff. However, we want to keep our worktops the same colour as currently (they match our table perfectly). Can we sand down the worktops, apply new coats of Danish Oil, and then the Osmo on top? Will the two be okay together or could they react? Will we get the same colour as we have at the moment (using the clear mat Osmo)?

I've used Top oil, did not effect colour,

The trick with oiling is to keep going with the coats ,It will still bloom and mark up to two coats,in the wet areas, try about six thin coats.
