I have just had a separate water heating system and Glowworm boiler heating system removed and had a Worcester Bosch Greenfield 2. Junior condensing boiler fitted about 2 weeks ago. I have not really noticed until now that the radiator in the front room - the feed pipe is cold, the valve is open to max, the radiator is cold at the bottom and luke warm at the top and the pipe that leaves the radiator is pretty warm. Is it just by coincidence that the TRV valve has perished or could there be a complication with the installation. All other radiators are piping hot.

Any ideas welcome!

is the boiler in the same place as the old one?

It sounds like it could be air in the return pipework try turning off all the rads exept the cold one so the pump is forcing water through the cold rad until the return pipe gets hot, then open other rads
