I've a squirty bottle of 'waterproof timber adhesive', PVA I assume, which has been stored in my outdoor workshop for a good few years. Last week, I tried to use it, and it was hopeless, at best it dried tacky, and took days to get to that stage. Does this stuff go off, suffer from really cold temperatures please?

wood glue should be stored above about plus 5 degrees never colder
to be used the glue and timber should be stored at a minimum 10 degrees to avoid the white fog preferably greater than 12 degrees
modern glues struggle to last a full year from manufacture indoor[15%+] helps
