Hi all,

I have just had a LPG gas fire fitted and as a result, have 2 x 47kg gas bottles against the side of my house (bottle size 53" high x 47" wide total size for 2). I want to build a cupboard around them that has 2 opening doors and a sloping hinged top for access to regulators. I also do not want a frame at the bottom of doors to allow for easy removal of empty bottles. The bottles are sat upon 2 paving slabs at the moment. Can anyone please advise me on any type of design layout, materials for frame and cladding, doors, lid etc. Any suggestions for preservative?

Many thanks in advance,

Gary.

Old pallets would provide suitable free material which will last years. Dismantle , plane and assemble and coat with decking oil.
