Painting cielings

I have just stripped wallpaper of a couple of cielings,the plaster is in good condition.Is there something I should do before painting ?
As there may be paste stilll present.

Well you got to get that paste off.

To get paste off: bucket of hot water with some sugar soap, I use a large brush (6"). Wet surface, about 1 mt wide, wait a few seconds, you might see the paste starting to react, scrub with side of brush, then when paste is not too runny scrape off and sloop it into a waitjing plastic sack. then wet with brush again, then sponge dry with cold water. for future refrence! Clean the paste off as you strip, it's already wet then and paste is a little easier to remove.. seems slow but ..... thats decorating.... bet your going to line it now
