Painting cielings

I have just stripped wallpaper of a couple of cielings,the plaster is in good condition.Is there something I should do before painting ?
As there may be paste stilll present.

Well you got to get that paste off.

To get paste off: bucket of hot water with some sugar soap, I use a large brush (6"). Wet surface, about 1 mt wide, wait a few seconds, you might see the paste starting to react, scrub with side of brush, then when paste is not too runny scrape off and sloop it into a waitjing plastic sack. then wet with brush again, then sponge dry with cold water. for future refrence! Clean the paste off as you strip, it's already wet then :!: and paste is a little easier to remove.. seems slow but ..... thats decorating.... bet your going to line it now :LOL:
