Hi,
I've been reading the forum and have picked up some great tips as I've stripped and now preparing 3 floor stairway, nevertheless I still don't think I can competently paint a 6 panelled door in 15 minutes
The house was previously flats prior to converting it back to a house (made a nice change we thought!). Some of the internal doors are fire doors which we'd rather keep than swap for shed crud. The face of the doors are, what seems like, ply or something similar finished (with what I don't know) to a dark mahogany type colour. Any advice on how I can paint these with the same finish as the newer/standard woodwork?
