Hi. Never painted rendering before so decided to seek general advice before starting. I have attached photos of garage to be painted and a close up of surface. The existing paint is in good condition just a little stained from the environment. So would appreciate general advice such as cleaning the surface, preparation, any priming needed, type of paint to use, best way to apply etc. All help appreciated thanks in advance.

You could carefully use a pressure washer on it- ideally set on a car wash mode- you don"5 want to blast the current paint off. Or possibly use hot water and a scrubbing brush
Then use a big brush and something like deluxe weathershield. You can use a smaller brush for tight areas
