Part E Resistance to Passage of Sound - for existing HMO

Wondering if anyone has had the joyfull experience of having to apply Part E 'Resistance to the Passage of Sound 'of the Building Regs to an existing HMO.

Being in an Article 4 area gives our council (and I suspect others) the opportunity to apply a planning condition of Part E compliance in any planning applications for HMO change of use.

Wondering what building challenges people are facing in applying this to say a 1930's semi.
