I need to lay some white mint indian sandstone. They are really light in colour, almost white, and I am concerned that over time the yellow from the sand will leach through and stain the slabs. I intend to prime the back with a slurry of snowcrete and SBR, which should help I guess. I have a choice for bedding mortar: yellow sharp sand or nearly white building sand. I'll probably use snowcrete again, since its a small area. I'd prefer to use sharp for strength, but white building sand for colour. Its getting laid on a thick bed of whacked type 1, about 200mm since it was low to start with.
Interested to know what others would / do do.
Thanks
