Hi all, tidying up drive w/end, at the edge of the pavement and drive I want to lay a soldier course of paviors all the way across front of entrance which will have cars going over it every day. My question is how thick should the footing be and can I lay paviors straight onto the damp concrete (with no sand and cement) or is it better to let concrete set and lay paviours in sand and cement.
