Hello,

Can anyone give me some advice. I intend to fit a Philex Mirror Heater into a small bathroom. The Mirror has a max wattage of 250w. I would like to wire it into the lighting circuit via a fused switch.

Q. Can I hard wire this mirror into the lighting CCT via a fused switch.

Thanks

You can, providing the mirror is suitable for the bathroom zone it will be installed, cables must but routed in permitted safe zones, as the location is a bathroom it will require RCD protection if not already existing on lighting circuit.

... and provided that the 'fused switch' is installed in a permitted location.

Kind Regards, John
