Hoping this is a simple answer but
I can’t seem to find it on any of my local authorities FAQ or worded anywhere.
The house we have just purchased is a timber kit build with an outer layer of masonry (this has only just came to my attention, my assumption was it was brick & block). The extension we were planning on building was going to be using B&B.
Would doing it fall foul of any restrictions as far as “using material similar to that of which is already used” type scenarios?
The facing brick is still going to be the same as would the upper half being roughcast, so visually it wouldn’t look any different to the current dwelling. But obviously the inner skin would be block and as said, I can not find anything that clarifies this.
cheers
