Im renovating a house which has had the outside toilet and coal store incorporated in the kitchen area. The walls are painted with emulsion or similar, can i seal them with pva then give it a coat of bonding plaster to level out the uneven brickwork, then skim. Or would it be quicker and cheaper to board over it all. cheers

its quicker but about the same price, theirs less skill involved in dabbing boards compared to floating with bonding, also skimming on to board dries a lot quicker.
