I have a Baxi 105e boiler. The Hw only comes on when the central heating is in use. When the setting switch is set to hw only the water from the tap flows, but is not hot. THere is no inidication the microswitch has kicked in, it appears to do so when the CH is on. PLease help.

No pressure would stop both the C/H and Hot water side. There are many reasons for no pressure including; leak or boiler over pressurising and releasing through the relief line.
Try topping up to just over 1 bar; if you are extremely lucky it will work with no further problems. If the pressure falls again then check for leaks and also check the pressure relief line for drips.
I have known a situation where only he C/H side caused the over pressuring and the hot water side ran ok.
