Polishing Floor

Hi,

I have just completed screwing and glueing my reclaimed oak floor to the concrete in my dining room. I intend to sand it over the weekend.

I am after a dark, shiny finish, what is the best way to achieve this? Is it something I could do myself or best left to someone experienced? How much would I expect to pay for this (17 sq m)

If its something I could do, can anyone suggest what type of products I can use for a stain and polish?
