Hi all
I am intending to install some 10mm clear twin wall polycarbonate for a pitched lean to pergola
I understand they ideally should be fitted so the flutes run vertically, i wish to install the polycarbonate horizontally so i can have 1 long sheet and secure them down with 4 fixing buttons per rafter total of 4 rafters, dimensions are 1524x4724mm
However from researching on the Internet from what i have gathered if i install the polycarbonate horizontally, there is a possibility of dirt, insects, water ingress, moisture/condensation etc to build up...
Would foil tape or breather tape be suitable to prevent the above from occurring?
Is there anything i could do? or anything else you could suggest of?
Cheers
