How important is it to get the wall dead centre? I've got 600mm width by about 600 deep in clay but there's a bit of a banana shape to it that I only eally noticed after the concrete had gone in TBH and the wall gets to about 7cm from the edge in the middle, It's single storey & fairly lightwight - is BCO likely to have problems with it / what do you actually do to remedy the situation?

One of our BCO's insists on seeing the masonry as it is being laid upon the foundation, for this very reason. When we phone up and ask for this visit, the receptionist gets confused because it doesn't have a name. We just say it's another Trevor-ism.

There is scope for a bit of wander, though we do try and keep everything as central as possible. As long as you have a majority of the building occupying the central part of the foundation then you will be ok. Other factors like wall returns or internal walls that connect to the outer foundation will help.
