Potterton Performa 28 aps or pcb?

Just had Scottish Gas out today and the boiler appears to be fixed. They had a good poke about and eventually replaced the APS and I now have hot water and radiators on demand again. Bit gutted it was a £20 part but will take comfort in Tony's advice that it is a CORGI job even if it did look simple. Thanks for all the help and hope this helps someone is the future

turns out that it was the pcb after all. am so happy the boiler is now fixed and it wasn't a £20 fix

Exactly what happened between the 7th and the 12th???

was weird it actually fired up no problems when the BG man replaced the aps and lasted for a few hours. when i got home that night the same error code was flashing. Not sure why it worked when BG were there but they came back out on Wed to diagnose the fault then on thurs to fix it.
