I have a problem with my potterton suprima 60, i have tried to turn the central heating on but nothing happens. I have a solid red LED on and when i press the reset button it turns off, the green one comes on for a split second then goes off and goes back to just the red again.

I have advanced the heating to come on, and changed the temperature to try and get it to work with no luck. The pilot light that you are meant to see through the hole on the front cover of the boiler isn't there.

Any ideas??

Check for 230v on the switched live at boiler before jumping to conclusions

Update:

The boiler fires up ok when you advance/ the hot water comes on, just not the central heating.
