HI I am doing up an entire house , so LOTS of painting and LOTS of woodwork , My question is are these power sanders worth bothering with ?????I,ve got loads of 4 inch skirting and loads of doors and a whole staircase and landing full of spindles , all covered in 10 year old , kicked - chipped and yellowing white gloss - I,m not after going back to the wood I , just want to key it for fresh coat - should I just bite the bullet and spend a few days getting stuck in with a large packet of sandpaper - or are power sanders little bundles of wonder that ( if you believe the adverts for em ) will do it all for me without me braking a sweat,
