pressure gauge not working please help

Hi

wonder if you can help please, my combi boiler ariston aco27

works fine heating and hot water, but the pressure gauge is at zero i tried

putting more water in via the loop but the needle dont move, is it something

i can check or do i have to call out an engeneer?

any help would be most appreciated.

blow off the pressure in the boiler. then u will see a wire coming from the gauge then follow it to where it inserts into the hydraulic block. losen it or pull the clip then check that theres no debris in there. replace re pressure check for leak see wat happens if not then the valve has gone n you'll need a new one...
 
the hole is blocked up with sludge where it enters the system and will prob need replacing as the holes are very tiny, the black sludge goes hard , it might even be on the entrance to the pipe where its taken from
this happens a lot with early W /BOSCH boilers
