i have an Ariston Euro combi boiler A/23MFFI. When the central heating comes on the pressure slowly increases. When i turn off the central heating the pressure slowly returns to its original setting at 1 bar. I have bled all the radiators. All are about about 10 years old apart from two that were left in the room that are doubles and older. When i bleed these two the water jets out and doesn't ease off on one of them. All radiators get hot when the heatings on and don't have any cold spots. Any ideas?

It's normal for the pressure to rise as the water in the system expands when it is heated. There is an expansion vessel to built into the system to take care of it.

However, if the pressure rise is excessive, say, to about 3 Bar when hot, that could indicate a problem with the expansion vessel.

The pressure relief valve should keep the system safe by relieving excessive pressure, but if it does come into play, the cold pressure will drop to a lower value when the system cools.
