Hi all

Just wondered if anyone could suggest a good insurer - I'm not necessarily looking for the rock bottom price, but something reasonable with good cover and easy to deal with (if the need arose). Also not sure what level of cover I will need? I'm part 1 qualified, but will only be doing small jobs within the legal limits (I'm well aware of Part P and all that..., hope to be Part P within the next year or so)

Hope you can help

Cheers

AXA venture plus £90 for £2million cover excludes some work such as quarries, fuel installations etc. Any decent broker should be able to find it

'She who must be obey'd' arranged mine with Hill House Hammond and the first year was 138. This year its gone down to 110, they say its because they negotiated a better rate.

Royal Bank of Scotland, not the cheapest at an average of £130, but they tailor it to you and they have the backup to let you rest assured your in good hands.

Never had a problem in 5 years, either for me as an individual or with Compnay Insurances.
