Quarry Tile Paint

I want to paint over my red quarry tiles with a different colour. Red is too dark for my galley kitchen. The tiles are original from 1928. I currently have them covered with vinyl lino but this is trapping moisture underneath the vinyl. Can anyone recommend a quarry tile paint and a sealer.
