Hi ive recently replaced an old panel radiator which worked fine for a new double convector radiator ive fitted lockshield valves to either side of the rad but the one is a drain valve also.

the problem is the new radiator worked fine once i bled the system and after a couple of days the bottom right hand side of the rad where the return is and the return pipework is cold as this rad is the last rad in the system.

I opened the drain valve let the water run for a bit which was clear, (its a conventional open vent system) and then the rad was completly warm all over again couple of days later same problem bottom right hand side of rad cold and the return pipework cold.

the rad cant be blocked because the water flows fine through the drain valve and the rad and return gets warm once the system has been drained for a few minutes
