Radiator hot at bottom and slightly warm at top

Hi

I am currently decorating my house. I have taken 7 radaitors in the house. Only 2 radiators are actually on.

But i noticed that when i put the heating on the bottom of the radiator is really hot and top is slightly warm?

its on both radiators

any ideas how i can sort this one out?

Have you tryed bleeding the rads

sorry to sound dumb but bleeding is when you take the air out of the radiator?

if so how long do i do it for??

and is it best to bleed the system when heating is off?

Untill water comes out

dont turn to much so the pin pops out my labourer done that the other day.
just half a turn if it pops out close both inds of rad and put back in

cheers will do will the air keep coming out though even when the water has come out?

if you get air keep it going if you get water there is no air
If you get no air and no water you tank in loft is empty or re pesure if seald system

Yes when it has been replaced by the water
