I have to raise the floor level in part of my downstairs bathroom as I want to install a shower. In order to get the drop I need I will have to raise the floor by approx 100mm. I am looking at 2 options either concrete or floating floor. Can anyone tell me which would be the best option from a cost and time point of view? If the floating floor is the best way then can anyone give me some pointers as to the best way to build the floating floor.
