Ravenheat 820 no hw

I have a problem with my combi boiler, the ch works fine but the hw stays cold.
I thought it might be the thermostat witch i replaced to no avail.
The system does not click the boiler in to action when the hw tap is turned on, so was wondering is there a sensor in the boiler that is faulty and so not seeing the water being drawn.

Sorry if the above is a bit dim, but am completly new to combi boilers.
