There is no central heating and no hot water since this morning - the pressure bar is showing below 1 bar, the pilot light is out and the low pressure warning light is on.

If this could be a pressure problem - how do I increase the pressure. The boiler is around 5 years old. Can anyone help?

:(

open the tap on the filling loop and watch the pressure 1 to 1.2 cold
filling loop is silver flex pipe btween cold main and heating pipe
usually(but not always )near boiler :D

Thank you so much! That's done it. I have been working hard all day and was desperate for a bath!

The manual didn't show where the tap was. Something to know for the future!

Whoops!
Note that the pressure must not be more than 1.5 or so!!!!
In other words - hope you remembered to turn vaslve on filling loop OFF before pressure went too high.
