Re-terminating SWA: Notifiable?

Sponsored Links
Can anyone tell me whether re-terminating my outhouse SWA a bit shorter than currently (it's currently terminated inside the CU) and then completing the rest of the circuit in suitable twin and earth is a notifiable alteration?
As of a couple of months ago, the only electrical work which are now notifiable are (a) replacing a CU, (b) providing a new circuit and (c) work within the 'zones' of a bathroom etc. From what you say, it doesn't sound as if what you propose comes into any of those categories.

Thanks both. The termination will still happen inside so no concern there.
Indeed. It no longer matters where the termination is, but I don't think it would ever have been notifiable if it was inside a building.
