I have bought a Honeywell PIR to replace a faulty Texecom PIR.
Faulty PIR has the following labelled connectors:
+ = obviously power
- = ground
N = ?
C = ?
T = is this Tamper?
T = is this Tamper?
Assume that the N and C are the alarm zone wires?
The new Honeywell PIR has:
T2 = is this tamper
T1 = is this tamper
NC = is this the same as N above?
C = assume this is same as C above?
V- = ground
V+ = power
Aside from the power and ground, does it matter which wire goes into which pair group? So for example, the two wires for the tamper circuit, does it matter which wire goes in T1 and T2, or are they interchangeable?
Thanks
