Hi everybody

when I flush the toilet, it makes awful sounds. I've found out the reason, which is the rubber section in the ball valve. So, I need to change the ball valve. I found a new ball valve but I don't know how I can change it. I just don't know what kind of tool I should use. could you help me?

turn off the water, flush the cistern then soak up the rest of the water with a cloth (if the valve is bottom entry) and either use a shifting spanner/footprints/pump pliers whaterver you have really, loosen the nut on the pipe supply then the nut securing the valve to the cistern refit in reverse then set the water level by adjustng the nut on the arm to the right level
