On my son'e 30's house, the bathroom and kitchen wastes go into a rainwater pipe which is concreted into the "back inlet" of the old kitchen darin. The 40mm pipes from the wastes are just resting in 45 degree branches of the plastic rainwater pipe.

Is there a pipe system with proper 40mm adaptors that I can replace the down pipe with. The pipe would have to fit into the back inlet of the old pottery drain.
Or can you rubber grommets to fit the 40mm into the rainwater pipe ?

Nothing wrong with using RWP as waste on a house that age. [Combined drainage] You could seal the pipe with silicone or fit a hopper head but unless its causing a problem why bother?
