Rewiring

Hello all, thanks for your replies , after going through them, i think a split load CU would be ideal for this flat. Considering the circuits i have and the appliances i have to connect, what changes i have to make to wiring at CU if the CU is split load ?

In the configuration below, which circuits will have RCD ? (following previous posts, i know fridge and light shouldn't be on RCD)

Kitchen
ring (3 double sockets + washing machine) - 32A MCB
radial (fridge) - 32A MCB
radial (hob + FCU + hood + oven) - 40A MCB

Lounge and 2 bedrooms
ring (9 double sockets) - 32A MCB

Whole Flat
radial (6 lights including bathroom pull cord light/fan) - 6A MCB

Also if somebody can highlight RCBO ... can i use them in this situation ?

rings are best on rcd though its not essential in an upstairs flat

cooker can really be on either side doesn't make a lot of difference

if the radial is just of rhte firsdege it should be on a 16A mcb
if you are putting a radial on a 32A mcb you must use 4mm cable

rcbos are a combined mcb/rcd unit fitted roughly like a mcb (you have to feed the neutral through them too though this is usually done by a flylead)
while they can be a good soloution especially where there are few cuircuits and not much space (so you don't want a split board) they tend to be an expensive option

Thanks plugs for the info, yet a small sketch may help about the implementation of RCD in CU.

I have a tight budget for the rewiring so if RCBO turns to be expensive option then i probably shouldn't go for that.

i found it quite informative and close to what i am looking for (split load CU). However i am not sure what should be the rating of the RCD ? is 80 A 100mA ok ?
