Run cable along boxed in pipes?

Hi chaps

I need to run some 2.5 down a hallway - there is screed on the floor so can't run it there. There are boxed in pipes for hot water - not CH - along the ceiling - could I run the cable along there?

You don't want to run cable in with hot water pipes. What exactly are you trying to achieve?

You can conceal the cable quite well, if that's what you're after?
