Its only a small house and he is only adding 3 double sockets and two switched spurs which are being placed between two already present double sockets.
I assumed in the beginning that would have only required the ring main to be severed and extending with the new sockets etc put in between.
I was going to do it myself before i found out i wasn't allowed.
My problem is i always think that people are on the make and as my quick and cheap extension to my ring has now gone to a new CU and new kitchen ring i was just wondering.
