Following from my message about sticking flooring to moisture resistant chipboard, I am trying to sand it with a floor and edge sanders. I have tried 80 and 100 grade sandpapers but they only melt the top coating of the chipboard and create a gunk that clogs the sandpaper; then the machine only takes the gunk from one place to another.
Further, what was a nice and even floor becomes full of mounds of this gunk that make it uneven.
Has anybody sanded this type of chipboard or know what the technique is?

Thanks

I have not read your other post but chipboard should be outlawed.

The stuff is pants. Not even fit to burn.

As for sanding it.......?

Yes but it doesn't help.
Anyway, for others who have to do this, use 40 or 60 grade sandpaper and keep "rubbing" it until all the "paste" goes
