Hey

Was wondering if someone would mind giving me some suggestions for screwdriver sets please?

I'm after a decent and large set of screw drivers. At the moment I've got a number of crappy screwdrivers from different sets or just loose but always have trouble finding the right one for any job.

A few years back for drill bits I brought https://www.toolstation.com/shop/Po...its/sd1250/Combination+Drill+&+Bit+Set/p68544 which is great. The quality is okay (not great), but what it does mean is that I always know I will have the right drill piece for the job. Then when one breaks I go out and replace it will a better quality version.

I suppose for screwdrivers I'm after a for the tool box that covers 80% of my needs maybe something like https://www.screwfix.com/p/stanley-fatmax-screwdrivers-set-12pcs/44414 or https://www.screwfix.com/p/stanley-screwdriver-set-51pcs/67520. Then perhaps something all encompassing - which I just can't find at a reasonable price point.

The other thing is perhaps I don't need a super large set? Maybe just one of the above with the additional of one or two separate single screwdrivers would be good enough. I'm a bit of a novice DIYer, so not overly sure.

Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Thanks guys. I've taken a quick look and they seem pretty good. Any recommendation on sets or types that I'm likely to need? I've got a pretty complete set of hex bits, but sometimes a traditional screwdriver is just what you need. I assume PH1, PH2, PZ1, PZ2, not sure really sure about the - type ones thoughs or what style I'm more likely to need a stuby for.

I'd look at those unless you want a single handle with multiple tips, I have this set:

I also have a VDE set:

Whatever you do make sure it's a ratchet handle whatever set you get, saves much time and grief. Fixed blades have their place but ratchet sets are fantastico
