Tie up ball valve.

Flush loo.

Sponge out remaining water.

Undo two nuts connecting flush pipe to syphon.

Lift syphon out and detach from flush handle on the way.

Replace with a Dudley Turbo syphon - so that you never have to go through this hassle again.
Or replace with new pushbutton flush valve the naem of which escapes me at the moment.

Check connections are slightly more than hand tight with suitable pliers (not too tight now).

release ball valve.

Check connections.

Check flush.

Make G&T or pour cold beer.

Christen new flush by dropping a hazard to shipping ;).

:oops:Dan
There are no wing nuts holding the water syphon that I can see.
The syphon goes into the toilet so does it just push in, so would i need to take the water cistern off the wall
