Service Pipes

Hi,

I have dug a trial hole for the foundation for a new extension that we are hoping to have built, but have come across the electric supply at the bottom of the foundation and would be running along the length of the foundation.

Does anyone know if the water and gas pipes would be below this level aswell? Would there be a problem e.g would they have to be moved?

water and electric are no problem, though may need sleeving.

you can not build over a gas main.

as for their whereabouts - it's anybodies guess.

i do not think so it is going to be tha t much of a problem.
