Shaver Socket Uk standard

Hi DIY,

My name is Daniel and I am a bit desperate to shave myself hehe.
I have recently bought this nice shaver Braun WF2S Blue WaterFlex Wet and Dry shaver with Swivel Head.

It is a very nice shaver. It would be. However it is made in Germany and I am in the Uk. My plug says either 115v or 230 v, this says 100v-240v and I cannot plug it in into my socket.
Is this normal? This should work everywhere. This is what it says.
I know. Maybe it is a silly question. But please inform me. Thanks.
I have never used a shaver like that before Especially not in the Uk

It should work ok in a uk shaver socket, why are you having difficulty? You could even use one of these in a normal socket http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_o...45573.m570.l1313&_nkw=shaver+adaptor&_sacat=0

The 100v-240v is the range it will work on, your 115-230v is within that range so fine.Though if there is a switch do not select low voltage and plug into socket set to high.
